There was once a place called “Wonderland” which lived some gods but also normal people who didn’t have any power. The gods were to protect “Wonderland”. The gods all had different powers, like ice, fire, wind, etc. But the special thing was that among every 100 newborn babies, there would be only one god. There was a palace where all the gods needed to live there perpetually as they had training so as to learn their powers to protect their homeland.

 

  Doris the newborn baby from the Watson’s was one of the lucky ones. She was sent in when she was three, all the gods were required to forget their past, so Doris started her new life. In the palace she met a bunch of new friends, and learned a lot of new techniques, she was the smartest of all. When she was six, she was able to do what a twelve-year-old could do. She figured out her own power when she was eight while the others figured out at ten. As she was a fast learner, she had graduated when she was fifteen. Her power was moving objects. In the beginning, she loved her own power, as it was unique. She could get everything by just snapping her fingers and the object she wanted would fly to her. She enjoyed moving small objects and she found it very interesting.

 

  Soon she was seventeen, by that time Doris could move larger objects. Because she got so strong and powerful, she started breaking rules just because she found it fun to destroy objects. She got in loads of trouble, she even moved the whole building and eight statues. Indeed, the king was very mad at her so he punished her by locking her in her room for a month. Amid her grounded period, her power got so much stronger as even she was grounded, she had private lessons. She had even lost her temper several times a day by breaking everything in her room. She just couldn’t control her own power. She thought she was the best, the most powerful in the world.

 

  It came to the last day of her punishment. When Doris was sleeping, she heard a knock. Although she had been sleeping peacefully, a guard ruined it so she couldn’t control her anger. Instead of just shouting at the guard, she snapped her finger and a bookshelf came flying before it landed on the guard’s backbone. The guard was badly injured, but Doris didn’t not bother caring about it. All of a sudden, Doris felt very weak, after a second, everything went black in her eyes.

  Crystal, Doris’s best friend came to find her as her detention had finished. But instead of seeing her healthy best friend, she saw a dead guard and her half-dead best friend. She quickly sprinted to the main building and reported to the king.

  Doris, who was asleep, heard someone calling her name. She quickly woke up and looked around, “Doris, Doris!! Come over here,” said an old man. “Who are you? And where exactly am I?” asked Doris anxiously. “Your great-grandfather, who was once a god, experienced everything like you did. But you can’t make the same mistake like he did. You have to learn to control your power, Doris!” “But who cares? Look I’m so powerful I can do a lot of things the others can’t ahah!!” said Doris vainly. “Doris, Nobody is the best! And your attitude is very bad! Let me show you your future.” The old man took Doris around, he showed her some pictures of Doris’s future then said, ”if you aren’t changing your attitude, you might end up being like this, or the king would take away your power. Do you want it to happen?” exclaimed the old man. “No, no, no, please no! “I…...tried! But I just can’t! I can’t even control my own power, it is like the power is controlling me telling me that it was the best! I wanted to change too, but I’ve made too many mistakes, I hurt someone, and I’ll never be able to make up for that. I regret what I did, I’m sorry.” sobbed Doris. “Doris, nobody is perfect, everyone makes mistakes, but what you can do is to LEARN from your own mistakes and change.” “Thanks for this!! Now I truly understand what I have done. Actually, who are you?” “I…...have to go.” As the apparition of the old man started to disappear. Doris woke up from her dream.

 

  She was in her bed, surrounded by the King, the Queen, Crystal and her teachers. “Oh my!! Doris, how are you? Your entire body was burning!!” Crystal screamed. All of a sudden sprinted in a guard, “Your majesty, it was reported that the army from “Evilland” is 50 miles away from us. And they’re about to start a war with us,” said the guard. “Send all the gods and warriors to the frontline and wait for my order,” commanded the king in a rush. The King, the Queen and the teachers left, and there was Crystal and Doris left in the room. “I think we should go as well,” said Doris as she got off her bed to suit up. “NOOOOOOO, DORIS YOU JUST RECOVERED!!” exclaimed Crystal. “Come on let’s go!!” said Doris as she ran to the frontline, leaving Crystal behind.

When Doris managed to reach the frontline, the war had already started, gods and warriors were all fighting. “Evilland” had quite a number of soldiers and “gods” from their land and “Wonderland” had so much fewer than them. Doris was scared, it was her first time ever on the frontline, but she also wanted to defend her hometown because it was her duty. She lifted everything that was “lift-a-ble” around her. She killed hundreds in a minute. But there were more soldiers coming, it was like there were endless soldiers. Doris did as much damage as “Evilland” did to them. “Evilland” was getting more and more advantages while “Wonderland” had to back off for being damaged severely.

 

Doris didn’t back off, she remained in the frontline. “God” from “Eviland” was attacking, Doris went to defend. In the beginning she lifted trees to hit her enemy, but it didn’t work. That god was strong, plus his talent was fire, he was like a dragon. Doris realised that she could even control the movement of powers, she started moving all the blown-out fire to another direction to kill other soldiers and back at the god himself. Then she lifted a huge stone and landed on the god and he died just by that. Some other gods from evil land saw that. So, they immediately came and attacked Doris, they were all furious about Doris killing their friend. It was 5 gods versus Doris herself. Doris was alone, it was insane to think that a seventeen-year-old girl could kill all five gods by herself. Doris knew there was no hope that she would walk out alive from all of them, so she fought till she was too weak to fight back. Just when she knew she was about to die, a breeze of cold air flew passed her, all the five gods didn’t expect that and they were all trapped in ice cubes. “Crystal!” exclaimed Doris as she ran to hug her, “You saved my life. Thank you so much!” said Doris. “Anytime!” Now let’s keep on defending!” said Crystal. Doris nodded and they kept defending. As all the gods from “Wonderland” were well-trained, they finally defeated “Evilland” and “Evilland” never dared to come and attack again.

 

  “Cheers!” cheered the King. “Thank you, everyone, for putting all the effort in this war. Using what you all can do to defend our hometown from “Evilland”. “No problem, our majesty! It’s our pleasure!” Replied the gods. And this was their celebration dinner, filled with laughter and jokes. “Wonderland” then lived in peace for a long long time, with well-trained gods protecting and no one ever dared to attack them ever again.
