When I was young, I was being taken care of by a nice auntie. Everyday her helper picked me up at the bus stop from the school bus. Sometimes, we would meet this nice old lady who was friends with the auntie. And every time, every time she saw me, she would say I would become a strong powerful woman when I grew up. I was so happy and confident. It definitely gave me strength in ways I did not know, because, how else would I remember this exact scenario from 15 years ago when I was still a K3 or P1 student. Now, I am this friendly young lady who cares about our society, our environment and our next generation. I have her and my mom to thank. I guess what I am trying to put forward is, mums and dads out there, do not underestimate the power of your every word. It all counts.
