1. Head-on This phrase means involving direct confrontation, facing things without hesitation. e.g. Facing difficulties head-on is the only way we could experience and grow in a meaningful way.

2. hands on Hands on means involving active participation rather than engaging only in theory. e.g. There is no use in me recommending this camera and its amazing features to you. You have to try it hands on to find out.

3. a trip/walk down memory lane Taking a trip/walk down memory lane means to reminisce over memories of past events, especially happy ones. e.g. My grandma takes me with her on a walk down memory lane every time she flips through the family photo album.

4. go to great lengths This phrase means to try very hard to achieve something. e.g. Danny is willing to go to great lengths to realise his business plans.

5. in hindsight In hindsight means to look back.

e.g. In hindsight, I should have taken the job offer and left the company when I had the chance. 6. Learn it the hard way

Learning it the hard way means to learn by making mistakes through trial and error. e.g. I always hear people say that investments have to be learned the hard way, so make sure you have enough money with you before entering the stock market, haha!
